Fluff, anyone?
Sep. 6th, 2006 04:29 pmI'm feeling rather down in the dumps today, so let's do something fun. While I have a million (all right, nine) WIPs going on, I think we could all do with some nice, happy fluff. I'm not saying that none of my WIPs aren't, just that you can never know with these things. Regardless; I'd love some input. What I propose is the following:
Reply to this post with a suggestion for something you would like to see in a happy!fic, and I will write a story that includes it.
Now, my productivity is nothing if not erratic, so I can't say when the story will be done. What I can promise is that I will write a story, I will post it here, and it shall include every single suggestion posted here.
Any takes? You'd make a sentimental romantic fool very happy indeed...

Date: 2006-09-06 03:49 pm (UTC)Lister knitting (I always wondered about Parallel Universe - Rimmer is wearing a, as Craig says, completely un-heterosexual kit, and Lister is knitting, and neither of them snark the other?).
At least one Aganoid. (Go, go, gadget, Happyfic!)

Date: 2006-09-06 04:51 pm (UTC)Lister is croching in Quarantine, isn't he? Ok, so there was little entertainment, but he is obviously a handy guy when he feels motivated ::G::
May fit in with having to work hard for Rimmers forgiveness...

Date: 2006-09-06 06:50 pm (UTC)Idea: Kochanski brought back through the Stasis Leak (alive:-). Slowly starting to annoy everyone but Lister. Rimmer, trying to "win" Lister over, and not realising he's really just jealous.*g*

Date: 2006-09-06 06:50 pm (UTC)A little bit AU perhaps.
Um, not an idea really, but perhaps you can make something of it.

Date: 2006-09-06 06:53 pm (UTC)What a charming idea!
Actually, it's likely that most of thime while his knittign Lister will just start and see what to make of it later. Perhaps his knitting can be controled by his subconcious.

Date: 2006-09-06 08:08 pm (UTC)Hehehe... You know, sometimes it's hard for me to see that a story I have written might be seen as bleak or angsty, because my eternal optimism always makes me think things will turn out in the end. I always feel there's a happy ending down the line for all the stories I write; anything else (you know, like

Date: 2006-09-06 08:19 pm (UTC)And I don't mind angst. Not at all, in fact. Angsty fic with a bit of jealousy thrown in and a happy ending? Best thing there is.*g* I can't wait to see what you come up with! I hope you're writing as we speak. So to say;-)

Date: 2006-09-06 08:22 pm (UTC)Oh, you mean our gestalt-stories? ;) Hehehe... They do tend to turn out that way though!
This sucker needs some major plotting before I can get to setting it down on (virtual) paper, but I'm working on that. Got plenty of other stuff coming though... Hopefully not too bleak!

Date: 2006-09-07 11:10 am (UTC)A lesbian steals all the beer from the third cupboard from the left and ends up in a locked room with Rimmer. She has brown hair and arms. Lister runs in and karate chops the lesbian whilst stealing the beer. He hides it. The lesbian chases him and falls out of the cargo doors whilst Lister sneaks in and shags Rimmer ...*sigh* I give up. Um, something series VIII-eee?
