It was almost a relief, to fall back into the role of a pathetic loser. It felt so natural, so right?

"The last human alive and his dead hologrammatic space-hero companion? He-llo?"
Erm... Make perfect sense to me. Er... Yes. The whole scene in the cell (damn that's the entire thing isn't it?) was beautiful and heartbreaking. The deep emotion involved is so tangible. Especially when the Lister-Sebastian thing comes into play. And the ending was just... Not the end, damnit! Now for the making it all better, and putting my world right side up again.
