You know, I love Red Dwarf because there are just so many smegging universes to play with!
Anyway, Has anyone thought to write a story where Lister DIDN"T have to give up Jim and Bexley? I've messed around with the idea with my writing partner in crime, but never wrote anything with it.
It would be interesting though, yes? How would Rimmer and Lister's personalities change with the responcibility of raising children. There's lots of scenes that show Rimmer not being a coward, and being worried for Lister, so I imagin he'd grow up a bit. How about Lister?
I kindda picture Lister being ... pretty much the same. Him having fun with the kids leaving all the serious stuff up to Rimmer to teach the kids, cause you know RImmer would. *teehee* He'd totally want to get the kids into Risk and history and stuff. He'd probably huff and say Lister wasn't teaching them properly so obvously it was up to him to do so.
Just a thought. But I'm interested on how other people might see Lister and Rimmer's characters changing with kids to raise.
