damn this fic is so good! I love the way you explore aspects of their characters not brought up that much in the canon and still make it believeable. The part about Rimmer's sexuality just seems to fit perfectly, and I actually feel a bit scared for Lister! Oh and: “On your knees, squire.” Best. Line. Ever.
