I didn't see this until it was already too late. *Grrr* And talk about an easy question - a bright five-year-old who'd watched one show could've answered it. :( However, I probably wouldn't have been quick enough.

They film at night? I didn't realize that. Does anyone know if they film one episode in one taping, or will it take multiple tapings to do it?

It's one episode per taping. Although I'm not sure what they do about laughter when they have to do reshoots. "Demons and Angels", for example, had a lot of stuff reshot after the season had wrapped.

Probably the same thing most Sitcoms do, use canned laughter. Unfortunately.

I would just suppose the laugh track is recorded on different/additional media than the visual, and layered over?

You'd think, but various people I've read on the official site are adamant that the laughter was never "canned". Even in Series 7, the prerecorded shows were shown to a live audience.

I suppose they could show bits from earlier shows to the audience at the final show. *Scratches head*
