Oh, this is so good. It kind of hurts, too - but has enough humor in it to abate the ache. That the Cat is the only one who witnesses Rimmer's nobility, and he's the one person who likely won't care enough to tell Lister, or will forget about it two minutes later, has to make you laugh.
