Hey everyone

Sorry I've been a bit quiet recently but real life has been a little strenuous over the past 6 months.  I've just checked in on my AO3 account and seen that my Fifty Shades fic has now had just over 2000 hits, which in our itty bitty fandom feels like a real achievement.  I choose to believe that its entirely down to my creative genius and nothing at all to do with piggybacking on the media hype around an international bestseller but either way it's given me such a lift so I just wanted to thank you all.

Special thanks have to go to Janamelie and VeronicaRich, who supported me through every torturous chapter update and gave me the motivation to keep writing.  Seriously guys, I would never have finished the damn thing without you. But really, thank you ALL just for being here.  This comm has the loveliest people and seeing new fics here always makes my day.  I promise to be better at feeding back and giving you all the credit you deserve!

I admit I was pleasantly surprised by how enjoyable the updates were. I once picked up the book and perused it, and then read some passages online, and that didn't give me hope at all because the characters were so unappealing and the language - ugh. But "Smeg" I liked - it wasn't all questionable-consent-victimy, and dom!Rimmer is kind of hot. :-D

Awww, it was nothing. :) I found each update so enjoyable that feedback came naturally. In fact, I often got impatient for the next instalment, but was too polite to say so. I understand that something that good takes time to produce. :D

We really do have a lovely comm here and I hope we don't gradually lose it. I'm doing my best to pimp it on Tumblr at every opportunity. ;)

Apologies if I never left any feedback on your 'Fifty Shades' fic - from recollection it was a fic I dipped in and out of (OOH-ER) so any lack of kudos would have been from me being fleeting and silly. But YAY WELL DONE YOU!

I never read the real Fifty Shades book. It was so hyped up and we gave away so many at our station that I wasn't interested, but I have to say your Fifty Shades is probably my favorite fic ever!
