Just thought I'd let you lovely lot know that tickets go on sale for DJXIX on Monday 2nd May!

We'll be holding it once again at the Nottingham Crowne Plaza on 7-9 April 2017 after a brilliant event there back in 2015.

Please be quick if you can, as we have a 19 day offer on ticket prices - £65 for members, £75 for non members - before the prices revert to the standard £75 for members and £90 for non members.

Me! :) Although I'll have to be quick to get that discount - wasn't there more time last time? Not criticising; you can obviously do what you need to. I guess you're probably anticipating huge demand because of the two new series?

Has it been held in April before? Not that it makes any difference to me, but I thought it was usually May.

If anyone thinks they may want to share a room to cut costs, pm me. :)

Yes there was a longer lower fee period last time, but it's just not financially possible to sustain the fees that low anymore. Last year we were lucky to break even and cover costs. We've got to bring our ticket prices in line with other conventions now to keep this going.

It's been May for the last two events, but no, not really a 'usual'. 2011 was March or April I recall...
