Now that was sad. But at least I could read it. Didn't read the last, as I hadn't actually read Backwards. Grrr...I wanna get the damn book, but I'll just have to wait a bit longer. Meanwhile:
Lister shrugged and put a scrap of lettuce from the evening's kebab in the book as a placeholder. "Righ'. Let's finish it another night. Hard work, reading.
Hilarious. That just seems like perfect Listy to me, a bit gross, but oh so cute.
Aaaah! You're doing it again! That thing! That wonderfull writey-thingy that makes me want to hide under my bed out of intimidation!
*sigh* So sad. I knew it would have been bad, but man...
He was made of light, and light could not give blow jobs. Or receive them. He started to chew on his sleeve in earnest. *wants to hug him* Gah.
"Righ'. Let's finish it another night. Hard work, reading." Hehehe... My Lister is much more literate, but yours is ten times cuter. ;)
You know, the saddest thing is that he never told Lister. Lister can't read him well enough to pick up on how he feels, I just know it; but he would have made things better if Arn had just smegging told him!!!!
Ja, it's a different Lister - I wanted to make him a little simpler, a little cuter, to make the initial relationship a little more plausible, and highlight the difference with the Lister who arrives.
Arn and Dave don't speak the same language, after all; that's the story between them, methinks.
