I have a sketch I've been working on currently, but it's a touch non-con. I'm not sure if that's kosher here, it does have relevance to my story, of course. It's a scene from a couple chapters beyond where you've beta-ed too.
I took a look at his stuff. Definately interesting, I like the twisted perspective he uses. No discernable groundline.
Roadstergal and zekass have been helping me out betaing the chapters of a novel I'm writing.
I have a complete outline currently, but I'm debating if I should post a couple chapters before I have finished it in it's entirity. It will be 100,000+ words by the end. It is slashy, yes, but also has a bit of het.
I don't like it when online authors don't finish a project in a timely manner so I don't want to do it myself.
I really have to strain to write short stories. And when I think I've actually done it, actually written a short story I get the same con-crit every time, 'it's too big, it should be a novel!'
My problem is detail. I make things too intricate, introduce too many questions. And I've tried, oh how I have tried, to reduce detail and create a short peice.
Although I guess I must have done something right at last since one of my 'short' stories won the yaoi-con fiction writing contest. :\
Now if I can only beat the others into short story shape as well...
*whine* I really want to know what's going on in that pic. Well, the part of me the isn't going 'omg black = pretteh'. Which is a large portion of me, at the moment.
