Really, you're getting better as you go on. Lister was quite in character, too, though it could be hard to tell, what with the fic being so Rimmer-centered. I think the Lister bits were good :)

The fic itself is lovely and suits perfectly my mood right now. I probably love Rimmer even more now. I really like it how you keep things sensible, like Rimmer not knowing what death is like. It makes things so realistic in the Red Dwarf way and shows that the fic remains faithful to the original series.

I'm with noirenails - with the fic being Rimmer-centric, you can't really judge how IC Lister is or not. The thing is though, I think this fic shows Lister as Rimmer precieves him, and I think it does that quite wonderfully.

Pregnant-Lister is very good. It is also eerily similar to a scene that's in a trapped-in-limbo fic I'm working on.

Lovely, and quite in character - I can really see Lister asking this question again and again, all depending on the mood he is in, and knowing full well he still hasn't got the real version from Rimmer.
And it sounds like we are getting a Lister version from your other writing half :-)
