Last Humans: Epilogue
Feb. 6th, 2008 06:55 pmMy brain has healed.
Red Dwarf Fanfic: Last Humans
Epilogue
Summary: The camphor wood chests have finally ripened.
Warnings: Mild language, blandness
Beta: Rack
Chapter Rating: PG
Summary of the whole smegging novel:
What if Lister hadn't died way back when? What if our Lister is the latest in a long line of Lister clones bred for the sole purpose of assisting a madman in getting revenge upon the universe? And that this madman _also_ turned out to be a clone of Lister?
Wouldn't that be just completely over the top? Particularly if it involved Ace having sex with Rimmer, Killcrazy eating Baxter's foot, Rimmer getting his 'A levels in being a badass', and Kochanski falling for Kryten? (Well, not that last bit, it's too much.)
But it all ends with Lister and Rimmer happy together on a camphor wood chest plantation.

"I thought I heard the sound of someone vivisecting a howler monkey. Somethings never change, eh, Listy?"

Fridge Logic
Date: 2008-02-07 06:09 am (UTC)This story almost defeated me with the craziness. It took me several weeks just to wrap my head around the time-paradox.(And I have the charts and diagrams to prove it. Whee!) And then you add in the dimensional stuff... whew. I know a few months from now I'll be thinking about geothermal heat exchange or some random thing and I'll _D'oh!_ because of an overlooked plot problem.
I've doomed myself to years of fridge moments. (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/FridgeLogic)
Thanks again for the feedback.
