Which clearly shows Rimmer is (still) a hologram, at least. The Sun is reporting (and yes, we all know how reliable they are, even in the States, but still): "CORONATION Street gets its first alien visitors — when the Red Dwarf crew arrive in this space runabout. Kryten (Robert Llewelyn) and the crew track down ex-boss Lister (Craig Charles) to Weatherfield — where Craig, 44, plays Lloyd. He was blasted yesterday for calling Corrie fans thick."

slicesmissus suggested that it's possible the "spoiler" pics aren't from the actual episode, but a short they're doing for Comic Relief. One can only hope -- I'm feeling pretty meh about the new episodes at the moment, but I'm withholding judgement because Robert Llewellyn is supposed to have an exclusive pic-leaking agreement with Grant Naylor, so I'll trust what I see from him and not what some paps decide to take out of context.

Dimensional alternates. They get back to Earth... but once again, it's not the right one. Thus, alternate versions of Rimmer, Lister and co! (Slash potential THROUGH THE ROOF! See? I brought it right back on topic for ya. ;) )

Another rumor that's been going around is that the crew got back to Earth, and had to settle down and get jobs - under assumed names - time passes...

I think that rumour about jobs came from a fan vid that a lot of people thought was an official trailer.

...which eerily fits the factoids that have slipped through the cracks. I mean, when I realized it was fan-made, I was ready dismiss all those ideas - and the first thing I see when I get on twitter is a link to those Corrie-set pics. I think the truth is somewhere in between all of this.

I admit. I'm totally in love with Bobby especially since I got to see him at DragonCon. He's just so FUNNY. Totally in love. So, I hope the fact that he was VERY VERY excited and said that the new eps are worth it and good really means they are. *fingers crossed*

Robert's tweets over the last day or so seem to make the Comic Relief theory plausible. He says they'll be filming the week of feb 16th for the new eps
