A fluff drabble. Well, by my standards. *sigh* Fluff and angst are warring over my soul...and right this instant, fluff is winning. I must even out the odds. I can't bear to consider the alternative. *shudders*

Rimmer/Lister
100 words

 

Slumping down on Lister’s naked body beneath him, Rimmer panted, then rolled off to one side. Tiny beads of hologramatic sweat covered him in a glowing sheen, and the man lying next to him (still breathing hard) was equally soaked. An aroma of spice and fresh sex permeated the small room.

Lister’s trembling fingers reached to grab his partner’s hand and squeeze affectionately.

“…Rimmer…love you…” he breathed.

The hologram closed his eyes tight, muscles tensed, trying to wish himself invisible.

Lister sighed, and felt his pulse begin to slow. He ached for a response.

He felt Rimmer’s hand squeeze back.

Well, I will admit that Rimmer has his own adorable smeggy charm, but I think the longer he'd stay with Lister, the more.. agreeable he'd become.

Now, that's not to say he still wouldn't worry and obsess, heck no.
But I doubt he'd be as angst-ridden. Well, unless he loses his Lister.

Awwww :D I like it a lot :) Personally I think the answer is to write a long story which contains angst (but also fluffy bits) and ends happily ;)

Just a note - permeated from their bunk Surely that should be "emanated from their bunk2 or "permeated their bunk" ?

if i'm assuming it's permeating the room and from the direction of the bunk...guess it is a little unclear. yep.
