Somewhat off topic (well, it's a con too) - is Dimension Jump the same time each year and same location (where?)? Are the actors always at that? Is there a website I could consult?

Sorry to tag onto this post, but I'm thinking of going in a year or two if it's annual, and I think I've seen you mention that you've gone. (I am extremely anal retentive about planning far ahead of things so I'm sure to afford them.) Gracias ...

Well, it's usually in fall, but this year it was going to be in July. Then, of course, it was cancelled, or rather "postponed until April 2011". Which is a bit like saying they're going to cancel it this year and hold it early next year. :/

Anyway, it was in Birmingham for the first time last year, and that's a really good venue, IMO. Pretty close to the airport and just a couple of blocks away from the train station. They usually get most or a lot of the cast; Hattie comes every year. :) Dimension Jump is nothing like any other convention I've ever been too; there isn't really a difference between guests and attendees; the cast hang out with everyone, and it's all very laid back and lovely. I'll certainly be there for April next year, so let us know if you're coming! :)

Unless I should win the lottery, I can't go next year. But I'd definitely be interested in 2012 (hopefully they'll have one! *G*). I'll bookmark the link, thanks!
