Red Dwarf Slash

I haven't been around here for long, but there's a great gen series called The Ace Chronicles (http://archiveofourown.org/series/1994) by

missflibble, I think. And then there's a sort of slash version (http://archiveofourown.org/series/1995), too.

I also like

roadstergal's and

kahvi's stories, which includes a Lister/Rimmer-Ace series Spanners/Breaking the Chain (http://roadstergal.info/misc/col.htm).

(I need to tack this post and follow any replies so I too can find more Ace stories to read ...)

Seriously, I've re-read those to the point of memorization on some passages, I bet. (I was stuck in bed recently quite a bit following some surgery, and ... well, the iPhone is a handy device, I tell you what. Put a power cord on it and you can read forever. *G*)

Man, I wouldn't mind reading those, either. The first couple of times I saw "Dimension Jump," I thought What a git! But then I saw it some more times and was like Hmm ... he ain't half bad after all ... I confess while I like the idea of Rimmer post-Ace conversion, I'd also read original-Ace (or other-Ace) fics.

If you don't mind, what do you like about Ace specifically? (Yeah, I'm totally trying to turn this thread into a comment-discussion-thing. Just like I've accidentally turned your post into other people's sideways recommendations. I'm sorry! LOL)

See, now you're assuming we're organized. Sadly, I don't think either of us have all of our fics collected in one place, though I'm sure m'colleague is more up ons it than I am. I shall point her in the direction of this post.

I know that our kindly mods have started tagging stories in this comm, so you can have a look through my tag (http://community.livejournal.com/reddwarfslash/tag/author:%20kahvi) and her tag (http://community.livejournal.com/reddwarfslash/tag/author:%20roadstergal) for some of it, at least. Though I'm not entirely sure that's all of it.
