So what if Rimmer, having gone off to be Ace, happened to turn up in a dimension where Red Dwarf exists as a TV show, and watches Series VII to find out how the others are managing without him, and sees 'Blue'?

The Rimmer Experience aside, if he had feelings for Lister, might that not send him in search of his own home dimension again?

Just throwing this one out there in case anyone wants to pick it up. I have so many plot bunnies at the moment (chrisscorkscrew has been slipping them carrot-flavoured body paint) and I thought I'd share.

If I was not full and stuffed (from lunch) and seriously sleep deprived and had an hour of work left to go and don't write anyway (I have the writing skills to bs reports and essays like a pro, but not to actually WRITE my own things. Not without sounding like a touched-in-the-head teenage fangirl, which I'm not. Not teenage anyway.) I would be idly plotting this out in my head to make it canon.

Because my head likes its canon. Like holy writ *nodnod*

Not that I'd write it anyway, I'd've gotten a nice writer friend (who I no longer really have anymore *sadface*) around for a chat and innocently idly described the above scenario after we'd obviously gotten around to talking about rd (because really, I drag it into normal conversation like. Like. Something draggy. God I'm tired). Then suggest they write it, because I'm an evil plotbunny breeder. I nurture the little darlings like nobody's business so they can breed like dustbunnies (who breed much faster than regular bunnies btw- dust is EVERYWHERE, so I mean, think about how much they propagate!)
