Promise Me? ideas

reddwarfslashOk I know I don’t talk a lot around here... but I have just had this idea pop into my head that wants out.
During a trip to a moon/plant/derelict, the Dwarfer’s go down after it's safe their are no life signs so they decided to split up.
Rimmer is the only one to encounter another hologram, the other hologram’s program is badly damaged and soon shuts down but before it goes offline tells him about someone that he loved once that lived here so he shuts himself off hoping that no will turn him on again.
That’s when Rimmer remembers something that happen to him and Lister 4 years ago, just after he got his hard light body but he can’t remember.
When he rejoins the others and starts tells them about his meeting with the other hologram, Lister starts to worrying about Rimmer and starts being very un-Lister.
The Dwarfer’s leave moon/plant/derelict and its some days later when the other 3 members see changes with Rimmer, how he acts around them there small changes at first but then they slowly become bigger.
Lister attempts to delete Rimmer’s recent memory, but Rimmer somehow fines out eventually he discovers a conspiracy by the crew to keep him from remembering events that led to the holographic equivalent of a psychotic break.
The trouble started 4 years ago when Rimmer had to making a choice {could be that there was some kind Rimmer/Lister Love conflict and Rimmer goes a bit nuts so the others delete his memories}.
On having the previously-deleted files of these events reinstalled into his memory, Rimmer mental stability begins to deteriorate as before, and the Dwarfer’s are faced with deleting his memories of events once again, or attempting to allow Rimmer to come to terms with his memories and feelings for Lister.
(That’s it, I’m hoping someone out their might take this idea?)
