Ok ok I have to tell you all this before my mind explodes.

The last few days my mind has decided to leave a safe place head towards insane, it has cross over 2 of my fav fandoms (new/old).

Ok picture this Red Dwarf, been a fan of the series for years (I remember watching it back in 1991) but now picture it with a twist namely ‘Megamind’ yep! I hope your getting it now.

The crew of the mining ship, Red Dwarf [who are cast from Megamind] and NO a radiation leak doesn’t kill of the crew. NO Earth they all on a spaceship.

Characters:

Metro Man (Ace)
Megamind (“Arnold Rimmer” coz he’s a hologram and Meg’s needs to be disguised)
Hal (Lister)
Minion (Kryten)
Roxanne (Kochanski)
Bernard (Cat)
The Mayor (Captain Frank Hollister)
The Warden (Prison Governor Ackerman)
And the rest of the crew of the Dwarf too.


Yeah I know insane I know but hay, tell me what you think.

Welcome to the insane asylum! You're in good company. I had this to post yesterday was but hit by a nasty bug of some kind and spent the night with fever and chills.

You know you're obsessed with RD when:

You dream you're on a mission of some sort with Lister, Rimmer, Kochanski and I believe Kryten. Don't recall anything else about it, but I was part of the "team".

You catch yourself tossing your head back to get your bangs out of your eyes, stare in horror at the mirror, and realize you have Ace hair (though more red than strawberry-blond). You then contemplate wearing an "H" on your forehead to the Star Trek convention at the end of the month, just to see if anyone recognizes RD (I am aware Ace never showed the "H").

You're designing a web page, come aross the word "Beldfoil" and your mind substitutes "Bacofoil".

And for a slight detour, you know you're obsessed with the Tenth Doctor when you're watching "Petrol Head" clips on YouTube, Chris does that thing where he curls his tongue tip to the roof his mouth while he's smiling, and you realize it's just as hot when he does it than when David Tennant does. Yummysexyhot!

As a matter of Fact at this moment I do have Ace Hair. (As one of the assistant managers pointed out on Friday.)
I'm doing exactly this for Halloween. :-) except I'm trying to gather up the bits and bobs I need for Series one/two Dwarf Costumes. I am not built to pull off velor trousers.

Hee! I don't have cool managers that recognize sci-fi. Considering I'm on the website building team, that's actually rather sad. I have the Tenth Doctor and a TARDIS coffee mug at my desk, and only one person has known what/who it is. *sigh*

I can't do velor, either, but I love and covet the red and green shiny uniforms from the mid-seasons. AND, Hancock Fabrics (http://www.hancockfabrics.com/Costume-Apparel_stcVVcatId538995VVviewcat.htm) has the red in stock, but I cannot sew :( I tried once, it took too long and I don't have the sewing machine anymore.

Oh, if you have an army surplus store like Uncle Sam's (http://www.unclesams.com/), they'll have the military-brown shirts and pants. When I made my SG1 and SGA jackets, that's where I picked them up. You can get the boots there, too. No, actually, I got my SGA jacket at Goodwill. It's an 80s Members Only :)
