Well, that was a massive anti-climax. :(

I watched the official site like a hawk at 11.30 this morning and was rewarded with the announcement that free tickets would be available from the website below from 2pm.  Come that time of course, the website was impossible to access.  When I finally got through two hours later, it said the show's fully booked!  *Banghead*

You can put your name down for the waiting list, which I have.  But beware, it seems they always overbook shows to be sure of getting a full studio, so even if you do get a ticket, entrance is not guaranteed.  You're advised to arrive early.

LOL yeah, it was a bit of a crazy panic. I was flopping around everywhere!

I sent an email to LostinTV like Doug's twitter suggested and I'm hoping I got in :I The tension will kill me!!

Thank you. :) I'm clinging to the hope that since I think I only missed the last ticket by 20 minutes or so (*sob*), I might be fairly high up the waiting list. Also, I've only asked for 1 ticket.

Here's hoping. They all sold in under 30 minutes. Apparently, some of the execs were worried they wouldn't be able to "get rid of" all the tickets. Naylor *laughed* at them.

I think I judged the time difference wrong. I sent in my info even though it said Booked already. I highly doubt they'll give a ticket to someone in the States. *sigh* To whomever did get in the queue, GOOD LUCK!

*Hug* I've been reading other sites and we are far from alone in our frustration. The site just couldn't handle the volume of traffic.

I'm assuming (hoping?) that the waiting list will also be first-come first-served.

I guess the takeaway from this is excellent news - Red Dwarf is still highly popular and in demand. I just caught up on the twitter feed. Wow.

I read the Twitter thing too - unfortunately too late to nab tickets via e-mail. Interesting read, though.

This surely increases the chances of another series (I know I'm jumping the gun, but still). :)

Sadly, yes. However, if the chance comes up again, I'll take 'em just in case. I sort of doubt I'll be history-nerding a plot point in any other eps, though, but we'll see what happens.
