Lister/Rimmer
Synapis: Rimmer is showing his ‘domesticated’ side while dancing provativally, while Lister looks on – just read it!! One shot. Post Legion.

Rimmer sighed in dispair. The sleeping quarters he shared with one Dave Lister was a disgrace. There were clothes everywhere, their sink was a utter disgrace, and he didn’t want to even think about what was happening in the toliet. Their mirror had seen much better days. He reached for his plastic yellow gloves and put them on. He grabbed his tape recorder and pressed play. ‘Meeting in the Ladies Room’ came on. “Skip”, he said. ‘Situation’ came next. “Skip”, he said. ‘I have Nothing’ played next. “Skip”, he said with a shudder. ‘What was I thinking, taping some of these – oh, that’s right.’ Breakups.He recalled having his heart handed to him after being beat with a holowhip on several occasions.
He spent the next five minutes skipping songs. Then a song started playing and he knew it before Devo started singing ‘Whip it’. “Crack that whip!”, and he started dancing. By the time the chorus started, he had cleaned the clothes off the floor. By the time Devo started singing the verse over again, Lister peeked in to see who had been cleaning, since Kryten was in the kitchenette starting dinner.
His eyes widened, and instantly his pants went two sizes too small. Rimmer who was at this time cleaning his grotty bed, was shaking his hips, well arse in a provocative way. It was… hypnotizing. But, he didn’t want Rimmer to know he was there, but yet he couldn’t move. It wasn’t the first time he saw Rimmer as… sexy. And as much as Rimmer put himself and others down, Lister saw more reasons to lift him up. And without another thought, he walked up to where Rimmer was, and turned him around, and kissed him. He poured everything he was, is, and everything he would feel for Rimmer into that one kiss. It, to him was the kiss of life. When he finally released Rimmer from his lip lock, Rimmer could only say ”Smeg!” Lister laughed at his exclamation. Kissing Rimmer made him feel good about everything, plus his lips tasted good. His kiss tasted good. Lister backed away, giving him his space back. Rimmer, who had been deep in thought all this time spoke.
“How did you know? I never gave any inkling, never wrote about my feelings, never gave you any sign that I was interested. All these years in space, and you pick now to… to snog me.”
“Yeah,” said Lister. “I was headed to the loo, when I saw you dancing, I heard you say ‘Crack that whip,’ then I heard ‘Now whip it, into shape,’ and I though you’d patched up Ingrid, so I peeked in, since the door was open, and I saw you dancing, and since I saw no Ingrid, I continued to watch. Besides, Rimmah, you were doing sumthing with your bum that there was no way you were doin' it for Ingrid. And, well, me kit got really, really tight. And, I knew I had to snog you, You were begging for a snog, mate!” he concluded.
“And what if I knocked your lights out, I mean, suppose my bread wasn’t buttered that way. What then?”
“Then I wouldn’t have any feelings or thoughts about kissing you again” said Lister.
Without knowing it, they had closed the gap between them, and each was undressing the other with his eyes.
“So, you WANT to kiss me again?” asked Rimmer.
“Yes sir” said Lister. “More then you’ll ever know.”
“Well, I’m not opposed to it, I mean, you don’t have dog food breath, like I thought, you actually have nice, minty breath. But I'm not touching the toilet. Let that bog bot handle that."
“Shut up, Rimmah!” said Lister, and proceed to shove his tongue down Rimmer – his Rimmer’s throat.
This should have been pwp, but I can’t write a good sex scene. If anyone wants to write a sex scene for our boys, have at it. I won’t oppose, and neither will the boys.
