Summary: Set the morning after "Old Habits."

Series notes: An AU of life on board leading up to Series X. Oh yes, and the events of Back to Earth didn't happen, though feel free to picture them in their BTE clothes, because I sure as smeg did. Set about 12 years before series X, to make the lads the right age.

SPOILERS: Not really for Back to Earth and Series X, but I am basing this series off of what we've seen up to "Lemons." I like the boys a little more mature; a little more chummy.

I think it might be easier than trying to write slash while your 8 year old nephew is staying over. *facepalm* He reads fast, so basically I've had to wait until he fell asleep to continue on with the In Bed series. It's very odd, too, because he fell asleep watching Return of the Jedi, so I've got Darth Vader intoning things in the other room while I'm describing Lister in a tux (yes, you read that right - I love my job hobby.)

Even better news - an extra hour to write! Who needs sleep!?
