A wee ficlet

reddwarfslashHi guys just a little bunny that been hopping around my head for a while now, finally got the little goit out. part of me feels that this could be built on as an idea but buggered if I know how, if anyone did want to run with it please do, all I ask is that you link back to this.

Voices
I listen with interest but you don’t see me.
You are talking under your breath but it’s not your voice, I listen closer, It’s the Simulant’s we met on Ordin 5.
That was a close one, we could ‘ave gotten out of there a lot quicker but you just kept him talkin and man could he talk, and you listened and... where did that recording device come from anyway?
You’re good at this, always have been. The others think it’s from when you were hooked into Holly, but I know better. You could always do it, for as long as I’ve known ya, voices, accents, little quirks you could mimic them all perfectly. Tha’s a real talent you’ve got there guy. You could have used it, worked up an act, been the life of parties, but you ruined it. Little jokes taken too far, voices used to mock, accents used to stereotype and quirks used to taunt and deride.
You could have been funny or clever, smeg you could have been insightful. Why did you have to spoil it by being cruel?

Yeah, cos he does silly voices and accent when alive, 'The end' and 'Krytie TV' being good examples, so it must be from him and not Holly/Being hooked into the systems, as 'Queeg' would seem to suggest.
Thank you, I'm never quite sure on Lister as I'm a Rimmer girl at heart and I do worry that writing in an accent could be overdone.
