Asking 'the question'
Mar. 14th, 2013 02:03 pmI can't remember whether or not this has been discussed previously, but I had a thought the other day.
If someone wanted to propose to Lister, would they also have to ask him for his father's/son's hand in marriage? And can you imagine the conversation?
Just a thought, as I said.

Date: 2013-03-16 04:09 am (UTC)You mentioned you'd never seen a squirrel. Are there not squirrels in Australia? Just curious, because my cat loves watching them in the trees right outside the house (I'm in America). We have chipmunks and a raccoon, too.

Date: 2013-03-16 05:42 am (UTC)No, no squirrels in Australia. At least they're certainly not fluffing about in Brisbane. We do have possums. We don't have chipmunks or raccoons, either.

Date: 2013-03-17 02:13 am (UTC)That makes sense, I guess. We don't have kangaroos or koalas here. I just, you know, squirrels are everywhere. I learned something today!
