Ooh, riveting update. I loved Lister's fantasy when he meets Rimmer again, the resolution of the blue car mystery and the tension between them. And God, the ending! Is Lister going to die and be brought back as a hologram by Rimmer? Given the nature of the company, they probably automatically create holodiscs for all employees.

If that happened, I foresee Lister insisting on going with Rimmer on Wildfire. Will they meet our Lister and Rimmer, or Spanners and Ace?

I just might if inspiration strikes, although not until your story is finished. I'm afraid anything I wrote would probably be minus explicit BDSM as I don't feel qualified to write that. ;)

Lister had a 'Scrubs' moment there! At one point he was going to get in the car with Marlena - and end up regretting it - but I changed my mind because it just didn't seem to fit his character. He wants Rimmer, not the sex. Much as I would have had fun writing it, the plot needed to move along!
