I've been working on an 'interlude' piece to segue into the next section of this series, but couldn't come up with a beginning. The shots of Lister from series 7 did the trick. I haven't written in over a month, so thank you for giving my brain (and libido) a kick in the ass. Here's your long johns story, which now became chapter 1. Maybe now I can make some progress on the rest.

Summary: Set a few weeks after Static, Lister and Rimmer are searching for new quarters since theirs was destroyed. An article of clothing belonging to Lister emerges in their clean-out and Rimmer's curiosity gets the better of him.

:) It must have been fate that this picspam happened when it did, because I have honestly been struggling with this part of In Bed for months. I have 87 pages in Word of starts and sections but nothing came together. This practically wrote itself, and will make a great bridge into what I think is the conclusion to In Bed. Now to find the time to write it.
