Tbh I didn't set out to turn this into a love letter to Lister, but...I rewatched S4 for (ahem) research purposes and HOW DARE LISTER BE SO BEAUTIFUL.

Oh yes, I noticed. The scene before the kippers (where Lister stands with his cigar[ette?] and watches Ace leave) made me sad, though, because there's so much admiration in his eyes...poor sad, jealous Rimmer. Thank you for fixing that with your fic :)

Thank you. :D "DJ" was actually what started me writing slash. Every time I watched it Rimmer's jealousy screamed at me. Add the homoerotic bond between Lister and Ace and the ep is Slasharama City. ;)
