I can't quite believe I wrote this - the plot bunny simply wouldn't leave me alone.  Crackish, smutty humour, not to be taken too seriously.

Inspired by Felineranger's wonderful "50 Shades Of Smeg", but you don't need to have read it to understand this.  Also, this doesn't contain BDSM - the rating is for other stuff.

I think it might have been because you listed it as mature and It couldn't verify my age. It works if you are logged in and of a verifiable age.

I guess it depends on your browser settings then, because it's visible to me whether I'm logged in or not. And I checked that the "Lock to registered users" button wasn't ticked.

I wonder what Howard's stage name would be. His real name is already fairly porn-y, but surely he couldn't use it for fear of his family finding out?

I'm not really up on plausible male porn actor names, but I definitely don't think he'd use his real name, especially with such a famous brother. In all honesty, it stretches belief slightly that Rimmer's lawyer, at least, wouldn't have heard about it. I've decided that after being shot dead by his father, Rimmer instructed his lawyer to only tell him things about his family which he absolutely had to know. ;)

I'm kind of in love with this idea now. I imagine Howard being approached because of his accent and military bearing, at first being all "Are you kidding?" and gradually coming around to the idea once he realises how much he can earn. :)

Actually, I'd read it as Rimmer did know, he just preferred not to be reminded about it. :) I might have just been reading carelessly, though.

Well, that's a perfectly valid interpretation. There is a bit in Felineranger's fic where Rimmer reacts badly when someone brings up Howard and his alleged "latest promotion", but actually if you take it that he knows the truth (as I've presented it here, I mean, not necessarily what Felineranger thinks), it adds another layer. And is somewhat amusing. ;)
