I've considered writing a longer fic with Hogey but I'm not sure if he might get irritating over a long story. I would love it if he came back for one ep in XI though. I wouldn't want him there all the time but he makes a good guest star.

Have you got any idea why it's not letting you post links in entries? What's happening?

I hope this isn't something that's obvious to everyone but me. I'm not very techno savvy. :/

When I post links I right click on them, press Ctrl C and then Ctrl V. It used to work fine in entries here and also in my journal but it hasn't in either location for months now. The mystifying thing is that it still works fine in comments here and in posts on Tumblr.

I did wonder if it's something to do with the settings on my laptop but it doesn't work on the PCs in my local library either. Maybe my browser's outdated or something.

Just curious — when you say you can't post links, does that mean you get some sort of error when you hit Post? Or that the links don't work, or something else?

I mean that when I try to post a link by copying and pasting it into an entry here or in my journal, absolutely nothing happens. No matter how many times I try it.

But as I said, that method works fine in comments here and on Tumblr. I honestly don't get it. :/

So I tested the method you described, and it doesn't work at all in my browsers (Firefox, Safari, Chrome). In fact, in the current version of Firefox, Right-click + Ctrl-C on a link = Convert Page to PDF. So it might indeed be a settings or versions issue, although I don't think that would explain why it works in some places and not others.

Does it still not work if you use another method of copying and pasting? :|

I'm actually the last person on the internet still using Internet Explorer. We do also have Google Chrome installed but if that method doesn't work for you there's no point trying that, I suppose.

OK, I'm embarrassed to admit this but I can't remember the other methods. It's a while since I took an IT class. I'll try Google. :o

Thank you! It really is adorable. I love that telling moment in "The Beginning" where Lister's half asleep and assumes it's Rimmer coming in to wake him up when it could just as easily be Cat or Kryten. :D
