Rimmer seemed to me to be the jealous type, but when I tried to think of jealousy in the context of Rimmer/Lister, Kochanski isn't what lept out.

I do identify with Lister more that Rimmer; in fact, I probably put too much of myself in the character at times. I really try not to! I'm not sure how I write Rimmer. I think I understand his angst and insecurity the best, because I used to be like that in grammar school. (Oddly enough, I was popular in high-shool. Not that I'm complaining!) And I believe in aliens!
I'm going to have to figure out a way to have Lister eat oranges the way I do in a fic. I can't believe I missed the opportunity in "Orange". Oh well... *ponders*

"Aliens!" Best in Thanks For The Memory, IMO. SpaceMonkey has an icon from that scene that I just love.
Orange is great; my favorite of your fanfics thus far. I love the imagery, and the twist at the end is a perfect squee. :)

Also, I just realized that I draw somewhat on my boyfriend for my Rimmer-inspiration (Rimmspiration?). He's a little like him, but also, I just have to think of how he would react to my Lister-ness.
