Not the promised Rimmer/Lister one - still editing it! But I found back this Brittas/Tim affair I once wrote for an LGBT psychology course (an internal monologue of a well known rigid TV character realising his sexuality). Would love to know what you think.

That's certainly an unusual pairing (as you're probably aware), since most Brittas shipping is either Tim/Gavin or Brittas/Laura. I like the in-depth look into Brittas' mind here, especially his confused thoughts about Gavin.

Thank you! I loved doing it from Brittas' POV as he has such an interesting mind: all the stuff he learns but unaware of what happens around him. He could easily be closeted, poor guy, as he just goes by what he has learned is "normal" or "the thing you do" which when he grew up was still: "get a job, marry have kids", being gay wasn't legal till the late 60's ...

Yes, I know it is an unusual pairing. Strangely I always felt a connection between these two in a Rimmer/Lister way, they had some interesting moments. It might have been Chris' acting and the fact Russell Porter reminded me of Craig in some ways, of course 🙂 ... Sometimes I'm thinking of exploring it further, but it is hard imagining Mr Brittas having sex or why Tim would cheat on Gavin.
