I feel that there was a profound change between the Rimmer/Lister interaction in VI and in VII, from rock-bottom in VI to a place of real affection in VII. So I wrote this. It's a bit of a followup to Lone. Spoilers for Out Of Time.

He thought about ships without dingy, ill-lit cargo holds and sticky spills of beer in the cockpit.

*giggles* That was lovely. I had this silly grin on my face at the little kiss. =) Hee! Ahh, Rimmer. Always so moody (sounds like me) and angsty. *sigh* Not to mention a drunkish Lister ... somehow, the Red Dwarf world seems like such a better place with a drunk Lister.
