Greetings fellow Posse fans!
Resisted reading RD slash for the longest time because I have been watching it for as long as I can remember and I just though; “No, some things are scared! I will slash the Bible but never Red Dwarf!”
Alas one day I was watching and my fortitude caved. I decided it was just so damn slashy. A space ship full of nothing but guys? Come on! *denies the existence of the seasons with Kochanski*

Love all the pairings, looking forward to writing and icon making and reading everything I can get my mittens on.

One question though? How do you get around the problem of Rimmer being a hologram? I know he has Hard Light later on, but I always preferred the first seasons and would probably base my fics then.

Yanno, I've been debating that myself, but...eh. Usually it gets thrown to hell anyway. After all, there are plenty of discrepancies in the series anyway. For instance, there's an episode in Season I where Rimmer talks about his dad and his suicide, but in Season II, he gets a letter saying that his father died in his sleep.

But the AR unit is always a cheap way out of the Soft-Light issue. >_>

I could just be biased, but I think Red Dwarf is possibly one of the best fandoms for slash :)
All that...tension. Having said that, I never realised slash possibilities until the Blue kiss.

Well there's always the AR Machine, or fic set post Legion, or one can do book canon fics, or snippets set during Terrorform, or in Timeslides just prior to him blowing himself up.

the cool thing about fanfic, is that you can pretty much do whatever you want with the characters! write a story set in the early series and invent some new, amazing way that makes rimmer a solid holigram. true, its kinda like cheating, but its *your* fic anyway!
