Ah, lovely. What an interesting creature. I don't think I've ever read a fic with this POV sort of before...
I've always wonderd about GELF's in Red Dawrf. Who the hell bred those things?! Still, much entertaiment all round.

Date: 2006-08-03 10:52 pm (UTC)The Psirens were insectoid, so when I tried to think about how they'd see humans, I figgered the lack of an exoskeleton would make an appearance.
There are two moments in VI when Rimmer has an odd look on his face that makes me double-take. One is the open-mouthed one that he has when he calls the others' attention to the missing Psiren - it might have been fear at the Escaped Alien, but to me, it looks like he just saw... something. The other is the morning-after scene in Legion, when he asks why Legion is so concerned with fulfilling their every desire; he looks oddly uncomfortable, and does not make eye contact with Lister.
Well, that was a ramble. Er, thanks for the feedback. :)

and gently pushed the minds of the soft ones further towards the conflict that was already brewing.
Aaahhh....
Such a plethora of vulnerabilities snaked through his mind, a twisted tangle of neuroses that would taste so sweet in the head of a soft one.
Like a Rimmershake! (Sorry.)

Heee!
The muscle that aided in speech had some significance to the not-soft one, and so she made her assumed form move it, running it around the word-forming devices, slowly,
Linguistic porn! :D
