Well, the original sirens were female, and G/N seemed to like the idea that they were female-ish... and not only would it make Lister/Psiren a het pairing, it would make Rimmer/Psiren-as-Lister a het pairing, too, wouldn't it?

I like my Rimmer shaken, not stirred. :)
