RDSS 10th Anniversary

I was just over on the Yahoo Group doing some maintenance (cleaned out some bouncing members, hee hee), and realised that we are less than a month away from our tenth birthday.

The Red Dwarf Slash Society started out as four people back in July 2001, founded by yours truly under whatever name it was I was using at the time. The Y!G has quietened down significantly since its heyday, but thanks to fiareynne made the jump to LJ. So basically it will have its tenth birthday on July 6th.

Should we commemorate this by having some sort of fic challenge? Greatest hits fic recs? Gratuitous kink meme link?

I love you all so so so much, seriously, this fandom is my baby and I can't believe I've been in it for so long!

Sounds good! (I wish sometimes this were the all-fic comm because like now, I have an Yvonne fic rattling around my head but it's not slash. Durnit!) Maybe an all-art fest, to include fic, art, macros, a daily photo caption challenge for July, etc.?

I so know what you mean I love it, I'm still shocked after going to DJ XVI at seeing how many people love it too... and that was only a small number I think I heard someone say theyr was 400 go to the one before O.O
