Comic Con ...?

So - was Red Dwarf X not represented at all at the recent Comic Con? I understand the trailer wasn't out yet (I don't think), but it was very close ... and trailers air all the time at CC that haven't aired to the public yet ... and ...

WELL, AND RED DWARF STILL GOING AFTER 24 YEARS SHOULD BE A BIG FUCKING DEAL AT NERDVANA. I'm sorry, but it should.

Anyway, does anyone know if it was shown/discussed/referenced there as it should have been?

Far better than me. I can't even get my sci-fi friend to watch a single episode. *sigh*

No, that friend would never have come to the con. I could barely get her in the same city as me when we were planning the UK trip together. She's dropped out now (a good thing for me) as another friend is wanting to go to the UK AND the con, and we have similar tastes in things to see & do. We're much more compatible :)

As for the sci-fi friend who hates RD without knowing a thing about it: I just asked her to put "Marooned" on her Kindle for the trip to Italy she's taking on Thursday and her response was "I'm not putting anything Red Dwarf on my Kindle." It's one frigging episode and she has two 17 hour flights!! Heaven forbid I suggest a show or movie she might like; she's never taken my advice yet expected me to watch everything she loved. Yeah, no. I have not and will not ever like Farscape. Yet I know every plot and detail because she never shut up about it.

Ignore me; my neck is stiff and hurting ever since Sunday. I think my entire left side of my body is misaligned and I need to get it adjusted. It hurts to look to the left. I'll make a call to the chiropractor tomorrow. *sigh*

No, I'd get kind of pissed, too. My younger sister is kind of like that - she's always introducing me to new stuff but rarely takes my advice for viewing. (However, I will say, it's usually just in front of me. She might check it out on her own later when I can't see. No, I don't know why, LOL.) But someone who just won't check it out at all is intolerant and annoying.
