Dimension Jump

There's probably an earlier post about this, so apologies for the duplication, but are there many slashers going to Dimension Jump? Will there be a slashers meet-up at some point over the weekend? I'm so torn about whether to register or not. I know I'll regret it if I don't, but as someone who's a bit quiet and shy I'm terrified of the thought of being sat awkwardly in a corner for a weekend! Anyone feel like talking me into it?!

Well seeing as I'm on the Fan Club Team, I'll certainly be there ;-)

There's a few of the slasher girls from here going - janamelie, kronette and veronica_rich are attending (the latter we bullied into parting with her hard earned cash and coming ;-D). Honestly, I've been by myself before knowing NOBODY and had a fantastic time. It's a very friendly atmosphere, great fun.

You went on your own without knowing anyone? Wow, that's brave! And really cool that you're on the fan club team. That must make it a pretty manic weekend for you though!

Do most people stay at the Holiday Inn?

I was 17 and had only really spoken to a small handful of people online. Like I said - I loved it! SO many people go on their own - most of the tickets we've processed are single ones.

Yup - I'm going to be working that weekend so shall have pretty big bags under my eyes!

Most people do but certainly not everybody. And to be honest, as long as you're staying fairly close by it won't make much odds. I'd be surprised if the Holiday Inn had sold out already - we've not had any news of that yet.

I probably would stay at the Holiday Inn - it makes it all much simpler!

Hmm, you may have won me over - I might just get booking on Monday when I can get the hotel booked at the same time!
