Hi There, I'm New.

So yes I'm relatively new to the fandom and entirely new to the world of FanFiction, but I've been utterly smitten with Red Dwarf and all the Lister and Rimmer slash that is out there. I've been reading a ton of it over the last few months and I finally decided to bite the bullet and write something myself. I know I've got a lot to live up to since so much of what I've read so far in the community has been absolutely fantastic, but hopefully it at least isn't complete rubbish.

Also I'm not even sure if it's kosher for me to be posting it here, so feel free to slap me on the wrists if I need to go through some sort of initiation rites first. :)

Hello! No apology required for joining this comm, especially when you came bearing fic. ;)

If you hadn't said you were new to writing fanfic, I wouldn't have known - this is sweet and sexy. Since you asked, I did spot a typo: "taught member" should be "taut".

I was in the same position as you a few years ago. I nervously posted my first ever fic here, people were nice about it and I carried on writing and gaining confidence, which is the only way to improve. :)
