lady_draco-and-kahvi fic. It started life as a squicky crack pairing for humor, but the device for making it possible took over the fic, and it turned into something completely different. This is an AU replaying of DNA - one where Rimmer doesn't give up on the dandruff.
It was also partly inspired by the IV commentary.
Warnings for some disgustingness and some sappiness. Spoilers for DNA.

Holly didn't have that much to do (and quite a lot of the stuff she did have wasn't great, but the character did have a distinctive voice and that line could definitely have been one of hers.
