A few people commented to my last post asking about a rare pairing contest and the notion tickled my fancy, so.

• Pairings must NOT be Lister/Rimmer. This includes alternate universe versions of both of them. Other than that, anything goes.
  
• Entries are to be submitted as posts to this comm by Sunday 31st of May.
  
• Entries are to be marked in the header as a contest entry, and should be labelled as either a rarepair or a crackpair. It is the author's discretion which category their story belongs in, but for example I would call Lister/Cat a rarepair and Cat/Talkie Toaster (now there's one I don't think anyone's done) as a crackpair.
  
• The term 'pair' does NOT mean you are limited to two people.
  
• Being as this is a slash comm, I would expect slashiness, but if you end up with a three(or more)some and a person of the opposite gender is included, that's fine.
  
• Original characters do not count towards the pairing.

Once the closing date has passed, entries will be put into a poll and voted on, and the winners will receive nifty banners proudly proclaiming their rare or crack pairing prowess.
